Overview
This course would suit individuals who are either new to fabrication and welding or those who wish to learn basic welding skills, with a view to moving into the welding industry.
Course Aim
This course would suit individuals who are either new to fabrication and welding or those who wish to learn basic welding skills, with a view to moving into the welding industry.
By the end of this course learners will be able to:
• Produce welds using the MIG/MAG process in a variety of welding positions and joint configurations.
• Position, prepare and check the welding equipment.
• Receive, handle and maintain consumables.
• Prepare, check and protect materials and work area ready for welding. Complete and check the finished weld ready for inspection and report.
