Candidates are asked to bring their CSCS Card Number and their National Insurance Number.

A copy of the Delegate Information Form will be issued to candidates before the course. Please ensure this is completed in full prior to the last day of the course and e-mailed by return. Please note that delegates must have a valid individual email address that is unique to the delegate and used for the online exam and electronic publication key. Group email addresses are not acceptable.

All delegates are required to show photographic identification to the trainer, such as a passport, driving license, or work ID. You will not be permitted to sit your exam without photographic proof of ID. If you have any queries on this, please contact us before your course.

The trainer will conduct an online exam with all delegates via video communication on Microsoft Teams. The exam lasts for 30 minutes and delegates must be visible via the video at all times. Delegates are permitted to refer to the supporting publication, Construction site safety (GE706), during the last 10 minutes of the examination period. The pass mark is 80% (24 questions out of 30). Delegates would be eligible for a resit should they achieve a mark between 70-77% (21, 22 or 23 out of 30). Only one attempt of a resit is allowed and may take place on the same day or by attending the final day of another course within a 90 day period. If a delegate fails the resit, they must take the whole course again. Any delegate scoring less than 67% (20 out of 30) will fail the final exam and must sit the whole course again.

To successfully achieve the course, delegates must pass all three elements of the trainer review and pass the end of course exam.  The trainer will discuss this further with delegates at the beginning of the course.
