Apprenticeship Starter Numbers Skyrocket

Since March 2020 Intertrain have taken on 7 level 3 technicians on Track Pathway and 5 level 3 technicians on S&T with Colas taking the total to 29 apprentices with this employer alone! A further 22 Level 2 apprentices were recruited with ISS Labour and Ganymede and there’s a further 22 planned to start over the coming months with ISS Labour and McGinley’s which will take the grand total to 73.

To put the above into prospective, in 2019, we had 14 apprentices start, that’s a 264% increase!

Dave Anderson – Competence Manager – Colas Rail said:

We have a relationship with Intertrain that goes back several years which has grown and developed into where we are now. The quality of service and variety of training is exceptional, they have met our ever changing needs and developed many bespoke training packages for us that has helped us deliver to our customers, this and the fact that they are now a City and Guilds company made this an easy choice.

I would recommend Intertrain over other providers if you want a bespoke scheme that can be tailored to your companies needs delivered by professionals. Intertrain has worked hard with us identifying requirements and timescales that not only met the needs of the standards but added value to our staff and company.

Flexibility and adaptability, in this ever changing world we now find ourselves Intertrain has found great ways of carrying on with the delivery of the scheme throughout the pandemic where other providers have paused theirs, this has reduced the risk of apprentices falling behind.
